Chris Heinz - October 12, 2010

For the third year in a row, Inc. magazine has ranked EnergyCAP, Inc. on its annual list of the nation’s 5000 fastest-growing private companies. The Inc. 5000 represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs.

“The leaders of the companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 have figured out how to grow their businesses during the longest recession since the Great Depression,” said Inc. president Bob LaPointe. “The 2010 Inc. 5000 showcases a particularly hardy group of entrepreneurs.”

EnergyCAP, Inc. publishes the best selling energy efficiency software called EnergyCAP. EnergyCAP serves the energy management needs of government, business, and education clients through web-based and installed energy tracking software. There’s also a free application for single building owners.

“Being recognized by Inc. magazine three years in a row confirms what we see every day—that in order to manage and reduce your energy expenditures effectively, you have to track your energy information and get a handle on your utility bills. More organizations are realizing the value of energy benchmarking, analysis, auditing and reporting, which is evidenced by our year-over-year growth,” said Steve Heinz, CEO and Founder of EnergyCAP. “Our Inc. 5000 ranking proves the market highly values our EnergyCAP solutions.”
